Courage Journal #4

Hey guys today is Friday the 24, 2008 yes i know i am late. This week has been so busy!!!

Friday i went to go see High School Musical 3 Senior Year, it was a good movie. And then on Saturday I went to go help out the Varsity volleyball team at districts. We came in 1st at districts, that was exciting... my courage Journal today is about Morgan Broehkuis.

Morgan Broehkuis is a Junior at my school.

she is an amazing volleyball player and can dominant anything on the court. i chose to do my blog about her because of her atitude on and off the court. Morgan doesn't get mad easily, on saturday there was a good example of that. In volleyball some of the teams can get kinda mean and not play like they should. you are supposed to roll the ball under the net. well put it this way the girl didn't do that. she threw the ball and it hit morgan in the head. i know funny right? wrong she lost her contact and she finished the game without her contact to me it took alot of courage not to react harshly to the other girl. she finished the tournament and WE WON!!!!!!!

Courage Journal #3

Cameron Duncan
Today is October 23, 2008. When I was in bible class today our class watched a video about Cameron Duncan. He was a 16 year old that died of Cancer. I was really hard for me to watch that video because my family just had my moms best friend die of cancer, it hit everyone in my family hard. When i was watching the video it reminded me of this family friend that had the same attitude towards life. She wasn't going to let one things wrong with her keep her from doing what she wanted to do. Much like Cameron she lived her life to her fullest and wasn't scared of dieing.
Cameron died 2 months after making his last video Strike Zone. If you have not seen it i would incourage you to go and watch his video.

Courage Journal #2

Sorry i was not able to get on the computer Yesterday the 22nd but i still wrote my journal.

Today is October 22, 2008 and I learned that standing up for something you don't think is right or something you believe in can take so much courage. And sometimes you do not say anything because you don't want the people around you to think that you are weird or strange, but sometimes when you do say something it makes the people wonder why you said something in the first place.

Today at lunch some of my "friends" were talking about a person. They were not kind comments at all so i told them to stop and the person they were talking found out that they were saying stuff and came up to me and said thank you. for me it took more courage to say something than it did just to stay quiet.

Courage Journal #1

Yesterday we got this journal assignment and I decided to do a blog as you can tell. I am almost always on the computer when I am home mostly because of school so I just decided that it would be easier to do it this way...

Today is Tuesday, October 21, 2008 and I had the opportunity to meet a man today in chaple. He is the founder and owner of a orphange in Haiti.
This man works everyday around kids. He faces so many problems that we couldn't begin to describe. And even with everything happening at the orphange he puts good morals into the childrens hearts he loves them, cares for them, they trust him with all their hearts. He keeps God in his life everyday. That to me takes so much spiritual courage!
